What types of bikes can we rent from your bike rental?
At our location at the Herrloh Hut we offer E-Bike Hardtails, E-Bike Hardtail Premium, E-Bike Fully, E-Bike Junior and MTB Fully. At our location at the Schneewittchenhaus we only rent Enduro bikes for the bike park.
What is the difference between an e-bike and a normal mountain bike?
An e-bike has an electric motor that gives you extra support while pedaling the bike. A normal mountain bike, on the other hand, has no motor and must be moved by the rider’s strength alone.
Is there an age limit for renting e-bikes or bicycles?
No, there is no minimum age for renting e-bikes or bicycles. For minors, a parent or guardian must be present for the rental.
Can I take an e-bike into the bike park?
No, the e-bikes that we rent at the Herrloh Hut are not suitable for use in the bike park and may not be used there.
What equipment can be rented from you?
Answer: We offer helmets for rent at both locations. At our Snow White House location, we also offer full-face helmets, protector jackets, and knee and shin protectors.
Can I book guided tours?
Yes, at our location at the Herrloh hut we offer guided tours with
Bike&Hike
which you can also book with us.
Can I rent equipment on site or do I have to reserve it in advance?
You can rent the equipment on site, but it is advisable to reserve it in advance to make sure it is available, especially during peak hours.
What are your opening hours?
We are open daily from 9:00 to 17:00.
How can I make a reservation for a bike or equipment?
You can make a reservation online through our website.
Do I have to pay a deposit to rent a bike or equipment?
No, a deposit is not required.
Can I return the equipment or bike early?
Yes, you can return the equipment or bike at any time before the end of the rental period. However, no refunds will be given for equipment or bikes returned early.
What happens if I damage the bike or equipment?
You are responsible for any damage or loss to the equipment or bike during the rental period. You must pay for repairs or replacement costs.

What kind of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, EC card and credit cards
Can we rent several bikes or equipment at the same time?
Yes, you can rent several bikes or pieces of equipment at the same time. Unfortunately, there is no group discount.
Are the bikes and equipment insured?
No, it is your responsibility to arrange insurance. However, we strongly recommend that you take out insurance.
Is there a minimum rental period for bikes or equipment?
Yes, the minimum rental period is one day.
Can I store the bike or equipment at night?
Yes, we offer a secure overnight storage facility for the bike and equipment.
Can I bring my own bike and just rent equipment?
Yes, you can also rent equipment only without renting a bike from us.
Do you also offer children's bicycles?
Yes, we offer e-bikes for children.
Can I return the bike or equipment to another location?
No, the bike or equipment must be returned to the same location where it was rented.
Do you also offer a delivery service to the hotel or vacation apartment?
No, you can pick up the bike at the store where you booked from 9am.
Can I return the equipment or bike on a different day than planned?
This depends on whether your rented bike is still available the next day. Please contact us in time regarding this.
What to do in case of an accident or damage to the bike?
In the event of an accident or damage to the bike, you should inform us immediately. We will assess the damage and repair or replace the bike if necessary. Please note that you are liable for any damage or loss of the bike during the rental period.
Are your bikes suitable for beginners?
Yes, we have bikes that are suitable for beginners. Our staff will be happy to advise you on the selection of the appropriate bike.
